Montréal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is finally getting the upgrade travellers have waited decades for—but who’s making sure the construction delivers lasting quality?

If you’ve ever tried catching a flight out of Montréal during rush hour, you know the struggle: heavy traffic, chaotic drop-off zones, and aging infrastructures that haven’t kept pace with the city’s growing needs.
For many travellers, Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport has long felt more like a bottleneck than a gateway.
That’s all set to change.
Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) has announced a massive $10 billion investment over the next 10 years to expand and modernize Trudeau International Airport. This isn’t just a facelift—it’s a bold reimagining of how Montréal welcomes the world.
With $1 billion coming from the Canada Infrastructure Bank and $9 billion raised through bonds and private funding, this major construction effort will impact nearly every corner of the airport.
Outside, ADM plans to triple the capacity of the drop-off area, demolish and rebuild the multi-level parking garage, and construct a new connection to the REM light rail network, expected to open in 2027.
Inside, the focus is on improving passenger movement and baggage recovery—critical as the airport prepares for a surge in flight traffic, from 25 million passengers in 2028 to an anticipated 35 million by 2035.
But with such an ambitious plan, the question isn’t just what will be built—but how well it will be built.
That’s where Bosseur Inc. comes in.
We provide third-party construction supervision and quality management services to ensure that every phase of work—from excavation and structural installation to final inspections—meets rigorous standards for performance, safety, and compliance.
On projects of this scale, small oversights can result in major delays, cost overruns, and long-term operational issues.
ADM is building the future of Québec’s air travel. At Bosseur Inc., we’re here to make sure that future stands strong.
